Russell Crowe Finally Meets the Pope (Sort of)

It all started with a tweet. Russell Crowe sent a tweet to Pope Francis, hoping to get him to watch his new movie “Noah.”

Though the pontiff doesn’t usually screen movies, Crowe was at least hoping to meet Pope Francis in person. They had plans to, but then those plans were canceled.

Crowe finally got his wish though (sort of) when he met the pope briefly at a general audience at the Vatican.
